Overview

I am a phd student in the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Metamaterials. The project I am working on is titled "Retrodirective Metamaterials for Long Range Identification and Sensing" with supervisors Dr Alexander Powell and Professor Alastair Hibbins. With the project focusing on looking at combining metamaterial resonators with retroreflective arrays to produce passive microwave ID/sensing elements for long-range RFID and internet of things purposes.

In 2022 I graduated from the University of Exeter with a masters degree in physics after doing a computational theoretical project that explored the use of 2D overlayers for enhancing a material's passive water splitting capabilities in order to obtain hydrogen.
