I am a postgraduate researcher in Physics at the University of Exeter, working within the Centre for Metamaterial Research and Innovation (CMRI). My current research focuses on magnetically controlled quantum emitters in two-dimensional heterostructures, with particular interests in quantum photonics, nanophotonics, and the optical properties of low-dimensional materials.
I hold a Master’s degree from the University of Oslo, where my research focused on the electrical control of quantum emitters in silicon carbide (4H-SiC). My Master’s project, Tuning and Control of Quantum Emitters in Silicon Carbide Using Schottky Barrier Diode, involved investigating the optical and electronic properties of semiconductor defects using photoluminescence spectroscopy, electrical characterisation, and computational methods.
