Mr Chandan Kumar

I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate working in the field of experimental condensed matter physics and nano-magnetism. My research focuses on understanding and controlling magnetisation dynamics in nanoscale and three-dimensional magnetic systems for future information processing and computing technologies.

My work combines spin-wave spectroscopy, magnetic characterisation, and nanofabrication to investigate emergent phenomena in artificial spin ice, magnonic crystals, and spintronic materials. A key theme of my research is the relationship between magnetic configurations, magnetic charge states, and dynamic excitations, with the aim of developing new approaches for low-power information processing based on spin waves and magnetic nanoarchitectures.
