I am a PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Environment, Science and Economy at the University of Exeter, where I conduct research under the supervision of Professor Monica Craciun and Professor Saverio Russo. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Jouf University, Saudi Arabia, and a Master's degree in General Physics from Western Illinois University, USA.
My research focuses on the design, fabrication, and characterisation of advanced hybrid materials and nanostructures for wearable energy harvesting and self-powered sensing technologies. I am particularly interested in developing flexible, sustainable, and high-performance devices that can simultaneously harvest ambient mechanical energy and enable autonomous sensing for next-generation healthcare, human-machine interfaces, and smart wearable systems. My work combines materials science to advance innovative solutions for self-powered electronics.
Before joining the University of Exeter, I worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Physics at Jouf University, where I supported undergraduate teaching, laboratory instruction, and academic activities.
