Daniel Barnett

Daniel Barnett is a first year PGR student working in the CMRI group within the university's physics department, supervised by Dr. Charles Downing and Dr. Misha Portnoi. He is currently researching theory of quantum batteries and energetics. Prior to this, Daniel was awarded a degree in MPhys Physics from the University of Exeter in 2025, having undertaken a project in inertial spin dynamics supervised by Dr. Janet Anders.
