I graduated from the University of Exeter with a Masters in Physics in 2024. My Master’s research explored the intersection of biochemistry and quantum physics, focusing on developing optical techniques to investigate avian magnetoreception, with broader potential for other fluorescence-based applications. Shortly after, I joined the CMRI to start a PhD on the topic of time-varying acoustic metamaterials - safely back in the realm of pure physics - working with Dr. Greg Chaplain, Prof. Simon Horsley, and Prof. Jensen Li.
