Harry Baskett

I completed my integrated masters degree at the University of Exeter, supervisord by Dr Eric Hébrard working on adding new physics to the 1D atmospheric model ATMO and comparing ATMO with VULCAN (another atmospheric model) on a target hot Jupiter exoplanet. 

I am now a PhD student supervised by Dr Eric Hébrard and Proffessor Nathan Mayne studying the atmospheres of hot Jupiter exoplanets using the Met Office 3D general circulation model: The Unified Model. I aim to work closely with observers who can provide precise transmission and emission spectra which I can compare to synthetic spectra from my simulations to provide insight into the underlying processes in hot Jupiter atmospheres.
