Profile

Michelle completed her PhD under Prof. Francesca Palombo and Prof. Nick Stone in the BioSpec team within the Biophysics group at the University of Exeter. Her PhD was focused on the development and use of Brillouin microscopy within the biological environment. She is now continuing this work as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, using Brillouin microscopy to assess the micromechanical properties of tissues, with particular interest in the Biomedical applications of the technique to Oesophageal cancer.
