My name is Till Käufer and I am Astronomy PostDoc at the University of Exeter.
I'm working with Sebastiaan Krijt on modelling the early stages of planet formation and linking them to observations.
I did my PhD as part of the CHAMELEON network at the Centre for Exoplanet Science of the University of St Andrews.
I did an one-year secondment at SRON associated with the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute in Groningen and I finished my PhD at the IWF in Graz, Austria.
My research deals with protoplanetary disks. I develop techniques based on Machine Learning to link astronomical observations to theoretical models. This focused in recent years on the modelling of JWST/MIRI spectra.
