I completed my Ph.D. in 2017 at Cornell University where my research focused on the DNA mediated assembly of plasmonic nanoparticles, primarily characterised using synchrotron small angle X-ray scattering. Afterwards, I worked briefly at the Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source (CHESS) before starting a post-doc at the Diamond Light Source, the U.K.'s national synchrotron facility. Here I worked with the AFMD group at Oxford to develop X-ray scattering techniques for organic semiconductors.
I am now working within Frank Vollmer's group to develop optoplasmonic sensors to probe the dyanmics of membrane proteins at the single molecule level.
