Profile
Dr Anne Buckner
Research Fellow
Anne Buckner is a researcher at the School of Physics & Astronomy of the University of Exeter. She is a research fellow on the ICYBOB project, specialising in statistical analysis of galactic star clusters. Prior to starting the project, Anne most notably developed the analysis tool INDICATE which is a novel local clustering statistic to quantify the degree of association of each point in any 2+D discrete dataset. She is passionate about outreach, such that when not researching Anne can be found giving public talks with giant 3D space themed holograms, tutoring secondary school pupils or blogging about life as an astrophysicist.
