Overview
I am a second postgraduate researcher at the Centre of Doctoral Training for Metamaterials at the University of Exeter, having joined the centre in 2018.
My PhD project title is 'Metasurfaces and Phononic Crystals for Manipulating Fluid Flow and Acoustics', with aims that include the application of phononic crystals to delay or prevent the onset or turbulence. I am supervised in this project by Prof. Alastair Hibbins, Prof. Roy Sambles, and Dr Peter Petrov.
Prior to this I obtained an MPhys degree from the university of Exeter, my dissertation title was "Rational Solutions to Ordinary Problems: Application of Pad\'e Approximation to Systems of Ordinary Differential Equations" focusing on the development of a non-linear algorithm for the numerical solution of systems of ordinary differential equations.
