I undertook my undergraduate degree at the University of Exeter from 2014-2018, spending my third year placement at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source Detector Division where I was involved with testing a potential new material for high count-rate capable scintillator-based neutron detectors.  My fourth year masters project concerned the modelling of protoplanetary discs to create simulated data for comparison with that from observations.

I am currently studying for a PhD with TEAM-A, aligned to the XM2 EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Metamaterials and to QinetiQ through the Prosperity Partnership programme.  Under the supervision of Professor David Wright and Dr Jacopo Bertolotti, the project aims to develop technologies for a multi-spectral imaging system based around extraordinary optical transmission and phase change materials.
