Overview

I joined the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Metamaterials (XM2) at University of Exeter in September 2018. I received my BS-MS dual degree in Physics from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune. For my master thesis I worked on 'light trapping using anisotropic plasmonic nanoparticles' as an application towards organic photovoltaic cells to enhance their optical absorption efficiency under the guidance of Prof. Sulabha K Kulkarni.

My PhD is on 'Plasmonic-enhanced organic photovoltaic cells for wearable applications'. Here graphene would be incorporated into textile substrates for the fabrication of wearable electronics, focusing on organic photovoltaic cells. This project is carried out under the guidance of Dr Ana Neves and Prof. Monica Craciun and it is partnered with Centexbel.
