I am a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Exeter, jointly based in the Living System Institute and the Department of Physics and Astronomy.

Research Focus
I develop next-generation single-molecule technologies to probe and engineer biological systems with unprecedented precision, combining photonics, nanotechnology, and biophysics.

• Label-free optical biosensing using whispering-gallery-mode microlasers for real-time, ultra-sensitive molecular detection
• Exploring the magnetic properties and circadian behaviour of cryptochrome proteins
